Description
Sacha Goldberger's Super Flemish portfolio features icons from fairy tales, superhero comics and Star Wars reimagined as 17th century characters, complete with period costumes and portrait styles. While they are all brilliant pieces, the Star Wars interpretations in particular spoke to me, so I thought that I would try and replicate the style in 3.75" action figure form. First up, the Dark Lord of the Sith himself, Darth Vader. I went a little bit of a different way with the costume, removing the gold trim on the pantaloons, and kept the neck frill a solid white (and marginally wider) to offset the black between Vader's helmet, cloak and corset.
This 3.75" scale figure utilises Saga Legends Darth Vader (for the head), Vintage Collection Darth Vader (for the entire figure, sans head and feet), The Hobbit Balin (for the feet) and some modelling clay
